The Ideal conditions to grow a Koi Fish in Cyprus

The Cyprus climate is Mediterranean, with long summers from May to October, and mild winters from December to February.  Koi fish are hardy but grow faster in warm waters; therefore, the Cyprus climate is ideal for Koi keepers.

Also, quality water in large volumes further help Koi to grow. Preferably, use dechlorinated water and perform water changes, 10% weekly, to maintain your water pH (range 7-8, ideally 7.5) and KH (range 75-200 mg/L) at the right levels.

In addition, you can encourage rapid growth of your Koi by providing them with larger dosage of high-quality food. Feed them according to the manufacturer recommendations, i.e. more food for warm waters and little to zero feeding during winter (below 10°C).
